KAREN KELLY
Karen Kelly is the founder, director and Interior Designer behind KKID. Before returning to New Zealand, she built an international career that took her to London, where she worked on projects across Europe, Asia and the US, before moving to Melbourne to continue her work in high-end residential interiors. These experiences informed her abiding respect for architecture, craft and materiality, and her ability to distil a client’s needs and achieve sublime results. Karen holds double Bachelor’s Degrees majoring in Design and Marketing.
WHAT WE DO
Renovations, new builds and boutique interior design services for private homes, luxury accommodation, hospitality and commercial projects, including interior refreshes, bespoke furniture design and full-scale transformations.
Services include spatial design, cabinetry design, soft furnishings; curtains & blinds, cushions and bedding, furniture, accessories, art advising and procurement, exterior colours, interior colours, finishes specification.
Based in Auckland, we also welcome travel throughout NZ and abroad. We have completed projects in the Bay of Islands, Queenstown, Wanaka, Tauranga, and as far as Melbourne, Dubai and UK.

Our designs are rigorously researched, carefully considered, and expertly executed. We are known for our personalised approach and our ability to really listen and uncover your brief.
