KAREN KELLY
Before returning to New Zealand in 2013, KKID founder and director Karen Kelly’s international career took her to London where she worked on projects across Europe, Asia and the US, then onto Melbourne where she continued her work in high-end residential interiors. All these experiences informed her abiding respect for architecture, craft and materiality, and her ability to distil a client’s needs and achieve sublime results. Karen holds double Bachelor’s Degrees majoring in Design & Marketing.
WHAT WE DO
Renovations, new builds and interior refreshes for private homes, boutique and luxury accommodation, hospitality and commercial projects.
Services include spatial design, cabinetry design, soft furnishings; curtains & blinds, cushions and bedding, furniture, accessories, art advising and procurement, exterior colours, interior colours, finishes specification.
Based in Auckland, we also welcome travel throughout NZ and abroad. We have completed projects in the Bay of Islands, Queenstown, Wanaka, Tauranga, and as far as Melbourne, Dubai and UK.

Our designs are rigorously researched, carefully considered, and expertly executed. We are known for our personalised approach and our ability to really listen and uncover your brief.
